        信息T恤的再次流行，可以说要归功于三年前因涉嫌盗窃罪的薇诺娜·赖德，她无意间的推动，让信息T恤变得更加流行。 玉女薇诺娜·赖德曾身穿一件印着“自由的薇诺娜(Free Winona)”字样的T恤登上《W》杂志的封面。不知是不是这件T恤给她带来了幸运，总之陪审团对她产生了同情，没让薇诺娜·赖德坐监，最终只是罚款了事。这件“自由的薇诺娜”T恤如同扔进水中的一块硝石，在大众中间激起了连锁反应，现在美国陷入诉讼麻烦中的人，常会选择一件“自由的××”T恤穿在身上。
